Who is responsible

PandaQuest is the software. The controller – the person or company answerable for the data on this particular hub – is whoever runs it, and these details come from their configuration rather than from the code.

4 of these has not been filled in. Until they are, you have no named party to send a request or a complaint to. If this is your hub, set those variables and restart.

What this is

PandaQuest Hub collects quest telemetry uploaded by the PandaQuest addon and turns it into routes and timings that the addon can read back. Using it is voluntary at both ends: you choose to upload, and you can stop and erase what you uploaded at any time.

This is a fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Blizzard Entertainment, and World of Warcraft and its content are Blizzard's.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 to register.
• One person, one account. Keep your API keys to yourself: a key uploads as you, and anything sent with it is attributed to you.
• Do not upload data that is not yours, and do not upload fabricated data. Both corrupt the guides for everybody, and both are grounds for the operator to disable the account.
• Do not use the service to work out where a particular player is or was. The public pages are built to make that hard on purpose; trying to defeat that is a misuse of the service.

What you upload, and what happens to it

You keep whatever rights you have in your own play data. By uploading with consent you allow this hub to store it and to include it in anonymous aggregates – the quest guides – which carry no names and no timestamps.

If you erase your account, the guides your data fed are rebuilt without it, and any guide that was not built from enough different players to be a real aggregate is deleted rather than kept. The rule is written out on the privacy page.

What is not promised

• No uptime guarantee, no support commitment and no promise that the data survives a disk failure. Keep nothing here that you cannot lose.
• The routes and timings are what other players did, not advice. They can be wrong, and they are only as good as the data behind them.
• The operator may change or withdraw the service. Where a change matters to your data, this page and the privacy page change with it and the version number moves.

Complaints and disputes

Write to the contact address above first – most things are a misunderstanding and are fixed in a message. For anything about your personal data specifically, you can also complain to your data protection authority; the privacy page says how.
